Summary:
West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) invites applications for a eleven-month tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position as Research Methodologist in the Doctor of Education (Ed.
D.
) Educational Leadership program.
Position responsibilities include teaching doctoral research methodology/research design courses in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods and serving as a research methodologist on doctoral candidates' scholarly delivery committees, participating in and leading professional development, advising and recruiting doctoral candidates, working cooperatively with area public schools and/or community colleges and organizations with public and/or higher education affiliations, maintaining an active research and publication agenda, participating in university committees and professional organizations, and fulfilling other duties as assigned.

Work Performed:
The faculty member in this position will serve as a core Research Methodologist for the Ed.
D.
program in Educational Leadership and other doctoral programs as developed in the College of Education and Social Sciences.
S/he will teach doctoral research classes and will serve as the Research Methodologist on Scholarly Delivery Committees as determined by departmental and program needs.
Necessary
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Research Methodology, Educational Leadership, or related field in the Social Sciences with emphasis on qualitative methodologies.
Ability to teach an introductory research design course that includes basic quantitative concepts.
Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Experience and excellence teaching in an online environment.
Active research agenda in Education or the Social Sciences that evidences qualitative methodological expertise and an openness to mixing methods.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with mixed methods research.
Expertise in any of the major qualitative approaches.
Expertise in Qualitative Content Analysis.
Excellence in technology usage to support research and teaching, including successful use of qualitative (or mixed) analysis software such as Atlas.
ti, Nvivo, MAXQDA, QDA Miner, and learning management systems such as Blackboard and Canvas.
Excellence in written and oral communication skills.
Success in supporting doctoral candidates in their learning, implementation, and presentation of qualitative and/or mixed methods research.
Supportive interpersonal and teaching skills with ability to communicate in a timely manner.
Appreciation for interdisciplinary research and knowledge.
Experience serving as Research Methodologist on doctoral committees.
Research agenda related to rural education and/or communities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
