Summary:
The QA Laboratory Technician is part of a team responsible for analyzing raw and finished product using a variety of test methods, ensuring all results are documented accurately.
This position is for the night shift (6pm-6am) and is on a 2 week rotating schedule.
Job Duties &
Responsibilities:
Analysis of a range of dairy products including butter and dairy powders, using approved analytical methods Using GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) to carry out all lab activities, Sample management:
sampling, receipt, preparation Review and document COA's (Certificate of Analysis) Validation of accredited test methods and commissioning of new instruments / project works Analysis of final product Supporting lab stock management and financial control as required Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including method optimization/redevelopment Adhere to the Lone Star health and safety policies and contribute to its improvements Complete other QA related tasks as needed Required Skills:
A strong communicator and ability to work effectively as part of a team An ability to interpret test data and problem solving skills Good organizational ability Desire to do further relevant training and improvement Proven ability to work with their own initiative and within a team Lab experience preferred but not required Employment Requirements:
Must pass a drug screening Must be able to follow all safety policies and attend safety training Applicant must be able to work 12 hour day shifts on a rotating schedule Must complete a pre-employment physical Must pass a background check Must have reliable transportation General math, reading, and writing skills Dependable High School diploma or equivalent Job Type:
