Job Description
This position will facilitate ongoing assessment at the institution and program levels; oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information in a consumable format that informs decision-making; and support accreditation activities at the regional, state, and national level.
Work Performed:
+ Provides leadership and support for ongoing assessment of academic and non-academic units.
+ Ensures that assessment data are collected, analyzed, and reported in a consumable format that informs evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning.
+ Develops and maintains systems that provide access to assessment data in a useful format that empowers stakeholders to make evidence-based decisions.
+ Coordinates with the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Planning in the development of appropriate assessment metrics for the University?s strategic plan.
+ Coordinates with the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs to support accreditation-related activities, including regional (SACSCOC) and specialized (AACSB, ABET, NAST, NASM, etc.) accreditations.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Necessary Qualifications:
+ Master?s degree in related academic field or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
+ Three years in higher education, including some teaching; experience with assessment and institutional effectiveness.
+ Assessment of academic and non-academic units; accreditation (regional and specialized); excellent communication and leadership skills; experience in both online and face-to-face educational delivery formats.
+ Strong computer skills, including use of databases/spreadsheets and other tools used to analyze and visualize data to inform the decision-making processes.
Preferred Qualifications :
+ Earned doctorate in related academic field.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
