Job Description
The Department of Education at West Texas A&M University invites applications for an Instructor/Remediation specialist/Advisor position. Position responsibilities include: student advising, disaggregating TExES Exam data and making recommendations based on data trends, designing individual plans of study for students preparing to take TExES Exams, and leading TExES examination test reviews. Responsibilities may also include teaching undergraduate courses in both face-to-face and web-based delivery systems and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
+ Student advising.
+ Disaggregating TExES Exam data and making recommendations based on data trends.
+ Designing individual plans of study for students preparing to take TExES Exams.
+ Leading TExES Examinations test reviews
+ Teaching undergraduate courses in both face-to-face and web-based delivery systems.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Necessary Qualifications:
+ Master of Education, Master of related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Experience using database and office software.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ M.ED. in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, Special Education, Educational Diagnostician, Reading or Literacy, or English as a Second Language .
+ Teaching experience in PK-12 setting.
+ An applicant holding a Texas certification of one who is eligible for certification in Texas.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
