Tire Engineers is proud to join the Mavis Discount Tire family. Mavis Discount Tire, a leader in the tire and automotive repair service field is pleased to join the Canyon, TX area. With over 400 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States. We're looking for a full-time Alignment Technicians to join our Team at one or our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers.
About the Position of Alignment Technician
Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customers' vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Alignment Technicians reduce customers' tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications
We recruit team members who share our commitment to providing complete customer satisfaction and delivering the highest quality service. To be eligible for the position of Alignment Technician you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
As an active position, Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
